ZAP Power System
Convert your bicycle into a human/electric hybrid vehicle, ZAP is one the most efficient forms of transportation available today. Just a few pennies worth of electricity is all you need for miles of silent, emission-free transportation. Range varies from 5-20 miles per charge, depending on user input and riding conditions.
The ZAP Power System comes in several varieties. The DX motor is a dual motor assembly and the SX is a single motor system. The DX is designed for higher speeds, while the SX is designed for greater range and both use a 20 AH battery. The Step-Thru systems are designed for womens' bike frames, and have the battery mounted on a rear rack rather than in the frame. The Step-Thru system is also available with an SX or DX motor. The trike system is a front-mounted, dual motor assembly, but has a lower peak RPM of 3500 and a 33 AH battery for extended range.
